Virginia Tech cornerback Victor "Macho" Harris said he will return to Blacksburg next season. Harris reportedly sent a text message to defensive backs coach Torrian Gray on Monday that stated, "Coach, I'm coming back."

Harris finished last season with five picks and 36 tackles and broke up 11 passes. As a result, he was picked first-team All-ACC.

Projected a third-round pick, Harris originally decided to enter the NFL draft this past weekend before changing his mind.

Commentary: Great news for coordinator Bud Foster and the Hokies' defense, as the squad loses star linebackers Xavier Adibi and Vince Hall because of last season being their senior years. With the losses of Adibi and Hall, Virginia Tech will need all the help it can get on that side of the ball.
