Foley High School's (Alabama) Julio Jones, widely considered the best wide receiver and one of the top four 2008 football prospects in the land, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Alabama Crimson Tide next season. The signing likely will catapult Alabama's 2008 recruiting class to the top in the eyes of many.

Jones is a 6-foot-4, 215-pounder who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds, benches 315 pounds, squats 505 pounds, and possesses a 41-inch vertical leap.

Not to mention he has good hands, too. Moreover, he caught passes for nearly 3,300 yards the past three seasons in high school.

This was huge for Nick Saban and the Tide faithful.
