I guess I did okay on my picks last week, Clemson beat Boston College, Flordia beat Tennessee; but Tennessee hung tough with Florida. So here are some key games that I would like to make my predictions on for today.
1. Clemson v TCU: This is going to be another game take place in a mud bath just the way football should be w/o the lightning. TCU does have a strong defensive line so the running game could be a problem, however the Horned Frogs have a weak secondary so I think this would be the time Clemson should use their passing attack on the weak secondary. Kyle Parker should be able to throw TD passes to Jacoby Ford, Xavier Dye, and C.J. Spiller. Final score Clemson 34 TCU 13.
2. Alabama v Arkansas: I don't think Alabama should have any problems w Arkansas, especially since Arkansas still trying to find their magic since Houston Nutt left. Besides why the hell should I trust a scumbag coach who left the Falcons high and dry w 2 games to go in the NFL season in his 1st yr, come to Arkansas, and oink like a pig. Alabama 42 Arkansas 10.
3. Georgia Tech v North Carolina: When Miami beat the Yellow Jackets last thursday night, the Hurricanes earned my respect; that being said, the Yellow Jackets are out for revenge, and unfortunately North Carolina is in their crosshair. Ga Tech 31 North Carolina 17.
4.Miami v Virgina Tech: What I said about Miami, you can look at #3. I was wrong about Virgina Tech, and on a more personal note, Thank you Va Tech for beating Nebraska last saturday. You did something Clemson couldn't do, and I still say Clemson didn't deserve that trip to the Gator Bowl. I think there's new life in Miami so I'm going with the Hurricanes by the final score of 27-21.
5. Penn St. v Iowa: This is going to be a good old fashion grudge match because Iowa prevented Penn St. from going to the National Title game, and I think they didn't go to the Rose Bowl either. Anyways in Happy Valley Penn St is hungry for revenge, and will get it today. Penn St. 31 Iowa 17.
So those are my 5 picks for today's game, have fun, and be safe.
