It's saturday, and you know what this means? Time for another college football predictions. Now I don't know how I did last saturday because I can't find my old article from last saturday, but I know I'm batting below 500. So here we go again, my 5 picks for this saturday's games.
1. Boston College v Va Tech: Boston College did great against Florida St. last saturday, but Va Tech has been on a tear since they lost to Alabama in their season opener. If this was play at Chesnut Hill, I would give it to the Eagles in a close game; however, since this game is played in Blacksburg, Va Tech has been unstoppable. Final score Va Tech 31 Boston College 21.
2. Auburn v Arkansas: This game is a battle of who can a roadblock to keep Alabama from winning the SEC West. Arkansas lost to Alabama, but can still be a spoiler to Auburn, and get into a decent bowl game either in Florida, or Dallas for the Cotton Bowl. Auburn is undefeated and will stay undefeated afterwards. Auburn 27 Arkansas 14.
3. Alabama v Ole Miss: Can Ole Miss play spoiler to Alabama chances of not only going for the BCS Title game, but SEC Title game? Depends on which defense shows up. Both teams have great defense, but on offense, Alabama has a slight advantage over Ole Miss. I like to see an upset at Mississippi, but that's not going to happen. Alabama 30 Ole Miss 17.
4. Florida v LSU: If Tim Tebow head is on straight, then Florida is going to win, but If he plays like he's having a outer body experince, then I say that LSU will pull off the upset. This is a game of the night and after the way LSU played against Georgia, I think LSU is going to upset LSU. LSU 28 Florida 21.
5. Michigan v Iowa: Michigan is playing very well so far, but Iowa is undefeated, and will stay undefeated after tonight. Iowa 34 Michigan 20.
Those are my weekly picks, and I'll do it again next saturday.
