Two weeks ago during the Arkansas/Florida game, a phantom flag was thrown because some official thought he saw an unsportsmanlike conduct against Arkansas which in turn gave Florida 15 yards to which a winning 27 yd field goal was made in Florida's victory over Arkansas. As a result, the crew was suspended for a week w/o pay all because you make those decisions as a crew instead of a person, and that was unneccessary. Now a couple of days ago the SEC office reprimanded Lane Kiffin for criticizing the SEC officials during the Tennessee/Alabama game; well I say this, If these egg-head officials get the call right the first time, then they wouldn't be called "Blind Bats."

I heard suggestion of how we should solve these officials problem by hiring full time officials instead of get these part timers who has other jobs on weekdays. Problem is the NCAA won't spend the money to have that kind of program, instead they got millions of dollars invested in instant replays, and even those things don't get it right.

The only situation to the problem is to make this a full time job, and get rid of the part timers. Set up a ref's school, of course you can take it in college as well, and train these men, and women who want to officiate football games. Replays should be done a la NFL style except give the college coaches 3 challenges during the game, and you have 1:30 to look at the play; don't need to have a game go on 4 hrs because the officials can't tell If it's a fumble or not. Do those things, and there won't be anymore critics on those blind bats, I mean the officials.
