OK, I usually just write the NFL Free Picks column, but figured I'd toss you a midweek surprise with a few quick college plays:

Miami (FL) is giving 13.5 at home to Virginia. The Hurricanes have come back to earth after some big early season wins, but they're still pretty good and will likely lay the wood at home to a bad Virginia team. Give the points. Speaknig of bad, Syracuse is horrible and they go on the road to take on a sneaky-good Pitt team likely to wake up some voters with a huge blowout. The line is pretty high, 21.5, but it opened at 19 so the smart money has already spoken. Give the points. Finally, Big Ten powers collide when Ohio State visits Penn State. I think OSU is still a bit overrated/overvalued by Vegas and PSU is the opposite. Seems like 4 points is a pretty small safe number for the Nittany Lions to cover at home.

Good luck!
