Florida and Alabama stayed undefeated, LSU barely escape La Tech with a victory, Arkansas had no trouble with Troy, Kentucky kept Vanderbilt winless in SEC play, Ole Miss trounce Tennessee, and Georgia gets a most needed win against Auburn. That's the summary of last saturday's game in the SEC. Here are the latest bowl prejection in which teams are going bowling, and which one will be bowling at a local bowling alley.
If the season ends today, here's how it looks:
1.Winner of the SEC Title Game between Florida v Alabama(BCS Title Game)
2.Loser of the SEC Title Game between Florida v Alabama(Sugar Bowl)
3.LSU(Capital One Bowl)
4.Georgia(Cotton Bowl)
5.Ole Miss(Outback Bowl)
6.Auburn(Chick Fil-A Bowl) against either Clemson, or Boston College
7.Tennessee(Music City Bowl) against either Miami, or North Carolina
8.Kentucky or Arkansas(Liberty Bowl)
9.Arkansas or Kentucky(Independence Bowl)
10.Mississippi St.(Papajohn.com Bowl)
Notice South Carolina isn't in the bowl picture, that's because their record in the conference is 3-5 6-5 overall, so right now they are looking in fill in a bowl slot that the other conference couldn't fill because they didn't have enough teams winning 6 games or more. That could change If Mississippi St. lose one of their last two games on schedule(Arkansas, and Ole Miss in the season finale) then South Carolina can slide in the Papajohn.com Bowl slot.
