Last saturday the SEC dominated the ACC in their interstate rival games giving Georgia, and South Carolina a big boost in bowl projection. Meanwhile Miss St. upseting Ole Miss changed the bowl picture as well for the Rebels. Even though the top 2 are still the same as they were last week(2nd Verse, same as the 1st), here's my final bowl projection before the real deal comes out next sunday.
in the latest BCS ranking the winning of the SEC Title Game will be going to the BCS Title Game, while the loser will play in the Sugar Bowl as the SEC rep. Here's the other bowl line-up as it stands now:
1.Winner of the Alabama/Florida game- BCS Title Game
2.Loser of the Alabama/Florida game- Sugar Bowl
3.LSU- Capital One Bowl
4.Ole Miss- Cotton Bowl
5.Tennessee- Outback Bowl
6.Georgia- Chick Fil-A Bowl
7.Arkansas- Music City Bowl
8.S.Carolina- Libery Bowl
9.Kentucky- Independence Bowl
10.Auburn- Papajohns.com Bowl
The Tennessee's victory over Kentucky propel them over Georgia for the Outback Bowl, still leaving a 4 way tie for the last four bowl spots. Even though Arkansas never faced Kentucky, they were 2-0 against Auburn and South Carolina, so that's why I think Arkansas will be going to the Music City Bowl. South Carolina had a victory over Kentucky earlier this year so that's why South Carolina is going to the Liberty Bowl to face either Houston or East Carolina. Kentucky has to settle for the Independence Bowl, while Auburn goes 0-2 against Arkansas and Kentucy sending them to the Papajohns.com Bowl against Rutgers.
Potenial Match-Up are endless, like Ole Miss could square off against Okalhoma St. in the Cotton Bowl. Georgia could face either Va. Tech, or Ga. Tech in the Chick Fil-A Bowl which will be a sellout either way, and Arkansas could square off against Boston College in the Music City Bowl. These are my last SEC Bowl projection till the real deal comes out, I'll let you know If I'm right.
