The Boise State Broncos went on a tear last year, not losing until a Liberty Bowl meeting with Louisville, which they lost by only four points. Head Coach Dan Hawkins has done a fantastic job with the Broncos the past few years and this year should be no different.

Junior QB Jared Zabransky threw for 2927 yards and 16 TDs last season, but also threw 12 INTs. He rushed for 325 yards and 13 TDs so he was a major force in their offensive schemes. Top WR T.J. Acree is gone, but there should be some good talent coming up behind him at receiver. The running game should be as good as last year since almost everyone returns including top rusher Lee Marks. Last year the offense ranked 2nd in scoring and 4th overall, so with seven starters returning this season I don't see why they would slip all that much.

Defensively the Boise State Broncos also return seven starters including several upperclassmen with lots of experience. The linebackers lose top tackler Andy Avalos but return MLB Korey Hall, who amassed 85 tackles and 4 sacks earning him 1st Team WAC honors. Four of the top six tacklers return so the Broncos should once again be a stout defense.

Boise State has all the weapons they need for another WAC Championship, but their out of conference schedule starts out pretty tough with road games at Georgia and Oregon State. I don't see why this team can't win the WAC again and they should lose only two or three games, keeping them in the top 25.
