Former Nebraska Cornhuskers star running back, Lawrence Phillips, is in trouble with the law once again. This time he is wanted by police in Los Angeles for allegedly running over three teenage boys after a dispute during a pickup football game. The three teens were taken to the hospital but are expected to fully recover.

Phillips was already being sought by police for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend twice earlier this month. In one of the incidents he supposedly choked her until she was unconscious. These latest incidents are just the latest entrees into Phillips' long criminal record.

Lawrence Phillips began getting in trouble with the law when he was still playing football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After helping his college squad win a national championship, he was selected with the 6th overall pick in the 1996 NFL draft by the St. Louis Rams. After short stints with the Rams, Dolphins, NFL Europe, and the 49ers he went on to the CFL where he enjoyed a brief period of success playing for the Montreal Alouettes.
