The Vanderbilt Commodores will visit the Wake Forest Demon Deacons tonight. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 PM.

The Vanderbilt Commodores are led by QB Jay Cutler who was a preseason all-Southeastern Conference pick and WR Erik Davis who is the SEC's leading active receiver with 1,148 yards receiving and 11 touchdown catches in his career.

The Wake Forrest Demon Deacons are dealing with the suspension of star running back Chris Barclay. Coach Jim Grobe suspended Barclay and cornerback Riley Swanson during the offseason for breaking an unspecified team rule. Micah Andrews will fill in. He rushed for six touchdowns as a backup last year. Despite the suspensions, the Demon Deacons return 16 starters from last year's squad.

Wake Forrest is slightly favored in this game. The point spread is currently 8 ½.
