The FSU Seminoles came into Doak Campbell stadium riding the momentum of their Monday night win over the Miami Hurricanes, and it showed.

The Seminoles put a hurting on the Citadel Bulldogs, winning 62-10, but early on it appeared as though the Bulldogs where going to make it a game. They went into halftime trailing by only three points.

In the third quarter, FSU exploded and put up 35 points. Leon Washington, Lorenzo Booker, & Antoine Smith all scored touchdowns running the ball. Quarterbacks Drew Weatherford and Xavier Lee both connected with wide receiver Greg Carr for touchdowns, from 40 and 9 yards out. Florida State capped off the game with an additional 14 points by James Coleman (1 yard TD Run) and Xavier Lee (24 yard TD run). FSU recorded 648 yards of total offense, distributing 488 passing and 160 rushing.

Drew Weatherford finished with 345 yards on 26 of 37 attempts for 2 touchdowns and one interception. Three receivers had hundred yards games; Chris Davis (9 REC 126 yards), Decody Fagg (7 REC 112 yards), Greg Carr 3 REC 103 yards 2 TD). Lorenzo Booker led the Seminoles in rushing, gaining 53 yards on four attempts. The Seminoles travel to Boston College next week.

Not much can be said about the Bulldogs. Their only touchdown came when Vincent Hill ran 73 yards for a touchdown off an FSU fumble. They put up a whopping 99 yards of total offense. Ouch!
