Fresno State's Clifton Smith returned two punts for touchdowns and running back Wendell Mathis scored three times to lead the #24 Bulldogs to an easy win over Weber State 55-17.

Quarterback Paul Pinegar was also effective through the air, completing 14-of-18 for 189 yards two touchdown passes, as Fresno State jumped on the Division 1-AA Bulldogs early. They scored on six of their first seven possessions and took a 42-3 halftime lead into halftime.
The win by the Fresno State Bulldogs marks their 7th in a row dating back to last season. They face a stiff test next week, as they travel to Oregon to play the Ducks on Saturday Night.

Coach Pat Hill hopes to have defensive lineman Garrett McIntyre back for the Oregon game, as he injured his left ankle tonight and had to be carted off the field. He will be reevaluated on Monday.
