FSU is set to face off against yet another ranked team in ACC play, two weeks after hanging on to defeat Miami 10-7 in their home opener. The Noles' struggled against Miami's strong defense, but fared quite a bit better last weekend against the overmatched Citadel. Quarterback Drew Weatherford passed for 342 yards and two touchdowns, as FSU had three guys who topped 100 yards receiving on the night. The going will be much harder on Saturday for coaching legend Bobby Bowden's team against a hard hitting Boston College squad.

The Seminoles have a top notch defense of their own, as they sacked Miami quarterback Kyle Wright nine times in the opener, and held the Citadel to only 91 yards of total offense last week in their 62-10 rout.

Boston College enters their first ever ACC game off a solid performance in dispatching Army 44-7. After giving up the first score of the game, the Eagles rattled off 44 unanswered points behind the arm of Quinton Porter. The senior signal caller went 15-of-20 passing for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Tailback L.V. Whitworth chipped in with 74 yards rushing on 17 carries, and also scored once.

The lone trouble spot for Boston College has been their secondary, which yielded 330 yards passing to BYU in their opening week victory, but they did improve on those numbers against run-heavy Army.
