The Northern Iowa Panthers (2-0) head to Iowa City to battle the 22nd ranked Iowa Hawkeyes (1-1) in an intrastate battle on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:35 pm ET at Kinnick Stadium.

The Northern Iowa Panthers, a Division I-AA team, won last week's matchup against Minnesota-Duluth 49-14. Sophomore QB Eric Sanders was the leader on offense. He completed 12-of-14 passes for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns. He'll be trying to get the ball to wide receivers Justin Surrency and Jamie Goodwin. Meanwhile, Corey Lewis and David Horne will share running back duties.

The 22nd ranked Iowa Hawkeyes are coming off a disappointing loss to Iowa State last week. The Hawkeyes will have junior QB Drew Tate back in action. Tate was knocked out of the Iowa State game with a concussion and had gone 5-of –11 before the injury. The offense, which managed only 3 points last week, also turned the ball over 5 times. They'll have to get things together in order to avoid another upset at the hands of in-state rivals.
