The Pittsburgh Panthers (0-2) visit Memorial Stadium to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers (2-0). Kickoff will be at 3:30 pm ET in Lincoln.

The Pittsburgh Panthers, who started the season ranked #23 in the nation, are still looking for their first win after last week's overtime loss to the Ohio Bobcats. Embattled QB Tyler Palko went just 13-of-25 for 120 yards and 3 interceptions. Two of those picks were returned for touchdowns, including one in the OT period that ended the game. Coach Dave Wannstedt is not ready to put all the blame for the Panthers' poor performances solely on Palko's shoulders. Instead, Palko gets the starting nod again this weekend. Running backs Rashad Jennings, Ray Kirkely, and LaRod Stephens will share backfield duties against Nebraska, and WR Greg Lee is always a threat to go deep. Look for LB Clint Session and tackle Thomas Smith to have an impact on defense.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers beat Wake Forest last week by forcing turnovers and then capitalizing on them. Safety Daniel Bullocks and Linebackers Corey McKeon and Stewart Bradley will be looking for more takeaways against Pitt. They'll be watching for errant passes from the struggling Palko all day. On the other side of the ball, RB Cory Ross is coming off a big game. He had 123 yards on 20 carries, including a long of 57. He should be a factor again this week. Junior Zac Taylor, 14-of-33 for 114 yards will start at quarterback.
