The Louisiana-Monroe Indians visit the #7 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 PM EST.

UL-Monroe comes into this one 0-2, after being shut out by Wyoming 38-0 last week. Needless to say, they were dominated on both sides of the football, as they failed to even make it into the red zone against the Cowboys. The previous week against Division 1-AA Northwestern State, they led by 23 points at halftime, but were pummeled in the 2nd half, and lost 27-23.

The Georgia Bulldogs were pushed to the limit by SEC East rival South Carolina and first year coach Steve Spurrier. They did hang on to win the game 17-15, but expect to have a much easier time this week against UL-Monroe. Last week, the defense once again stepped up and held the Gamecocks in check as quarterback D.J. Shockley struggled, completing only 8-of-17 passes for 112 yards, but threw two interceptions.

Shockley and running back Thomas Brown should have an easier time controlling the game on offense today, but plenty of difficult games lie ahead when the Georgia Bulldogs get into the meat of their SEC schedule.
