The Oregon Ducks looked like a team poised for a gigantic upset early on, but eventually faded against a powerful USC Trojans squad. Though leading 10-0 at the end of the first quarter the Ducks ended up losing 45-13.

QB Kellen Clemens and WR Demetrius Williams hooked up for a touchdown early on to make it a 10-0 game, but that would be first and last time that Oregon would find the endzone. Oregon did managed to add a field goal in the second quarter to make it a 13-10 game, but USC scored 35 unanswered points in the second half to make the game a laugher in the end.

Clemens ended the night going 15 of 30 for 168 yards and a touchdown. Williams had a fairly solid night catching the ball, amassing 83 yards with one touchdown on five receptions. The Oregon Ducks running game was fairly non-existent, managing only 65 yards on 29 carries.
