The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were thoroughly embarrassed by the Virginia Tech Hokies this afternoon.

Reggie Ball looked like he was still recovering from the viral Meningitis that forced him to miss last week's game. The Yellow Jackets defense had trouble stopping either the run or the pass. Special teams...well specials teams usually go the Hokies' way. Today was no different. Virginia Tech benefited from a blocked field goal that was returned 78-yards by D.J. Parker.

Not much went right for Georgia Tech. They did very little offensively. Reggie Ball ended the day 11 of 27 for 143 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. P.J. Daniels rushed for 48 yards on 10 carries.

WR Calvin Johnson managed to shine despite his team's lackluster performance. He caught five passes for 123 yards and scored the team's lone touchdown.
