West Point, N.Y. - ESPN, Inc. and the Army Athletic Association announced today that the Black Knights' Homecoming game against Central Michigan on Oct. 8 will begin at 1 p.m., with kickoff tentatively scheduled for 1:06 p.m.

Thanks to an exclusive five-year, multi-media agreement reached this spring with ESPN, all of Army's home football games and select neutral-site games in which Army is the home team through 2009 will be televised by either ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic or ESPNU. In order to maximize exposure, the Black Knights will play at least one game per year on Thursday or Friday, and potentially two contests in Saturday primetime. All other kickoff times will be set between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and determined 12 days prior to each contest.

The Black Knights' game against Central Michigan will be televised nationally by ESPN Classic, Army's third appearance on ESPN Classic this year. It will also mark the Black Knights' fifth consecutive national television date with last week's game versus Iowa State broadcast nationally on ESPN2 and this Saturday's contest opposite Connecticut to be aired on ESPNU.

Kickoff time for Army's remaining home games against Massachusetts (Nov. 12) and Arkansas State (Nov. 19) will be announced on Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, respectively.

Tickets to all Army home games can purchased through the Army Ticket Office at 1-877-TIX-ARMY (open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or by visiting the Army Athletic Association's Official Web site at www.goARMYsports.com.

Saturday's game against Connecticut continues a three-game homestand for the Black Knights and has already been listed as a sellout.
