BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Atlantic Coast Conference, along with the Virginia Tech Athletics Department, announced Monday the start time for Virginia Tech's home football game with Marshall on Oct. 8. The Hokies and Thundering Herd will kick off at noon and television coverage is to be determined.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN360, depending on the Major League Baseball playoff schedule.

Virginia Tech, ranked third in both major polls, takes on West Virginia University this weekend, while Marshall (1-2) hosts SMU in Conference USA action.
