The FAU Owls are visiting the #24 Louisville Cardinals on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 PM EST.

Winless Florida Atlantic faces a daunting task on Saturday, as they head to Papa John's Stadium to face a team that is out for blood after being upset and knocked from the top ten. The Louisville Cardinals are looking to feast on this upstart team after losing badly in their Big East debut to South Florida last weekend. The FAU Owls come into this one has huge underdogs, but did show some spunk in their last outing, a 28-21 loss against Louisiana-Monroe. In that one, they jumped out to an early 14-7 lead and were in the thick of things the whole way. Led by athletic junior quarterback Danny Embrick's 240 yards of total offense, they moved the ball better than they have all year. Embrick threw two scoring strikes, but was also victimized by three interceptions as the Owls fell to 0-4.

The Louisville Cardinals fell almost completely out of the top 25 after they once again went down to Tampa and were upended by South Florida. The Bulls also defeated a much-hyped Cardinals squad two years. Quarterback Brian Brohm tossed for 389 yards on 29-of-47 passing, but was intercepted once and failed to throw a touchdown as his offense could only muster 14 points. He will have to turn things around quickly to still be considered a Heisman Trophy candidate. Defensively, Louisville is allowing 32 points per game as they have especially struggled against the pass. Despite the shocking loss last weekend, Louisville is still considered the top dog in the new look Big East Conference.
