UM vs Georgia Tech postponed due to hurricane

The Miami Hurricanes and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have been forced to postpone their Saturday afternoon matchup because of Hurricane Wilma. The game was scheduled for a noon kickoff in the Orange Bowl.

Hurricane Wilma is expected to make landfall sometime between late Friday and early Saturday. It is currently a category 5 at the present time and poses enough of a threat to Miami that officials for both schools agreed to postpone the game.

No specific details have been released regarding when the game will be played.
