This Saturday, the Idaho Vandals (1-5, 1-2 WAC) will host the No. 24 Fresno State Bulldogs (4-1, 2-0 WAC) at the Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho. The game promises plenty of excitement in this battle of WAC conference foes.

The Bulldogs enter the Kibbie Dome having won three straight games. Their only loss came in a 37-34 heartbreaker at Oregon September 17. Last week, against Utah State, Fresno State rattled off 46 straight points after trailing 7-0. The defense allowed only 204 yards of offense, only 44 on the ground, and forced three turnovers. Couple that with an offense that ranks 5th in the nation with 47 points per game, including at least 34 in every game this season. The Bulldogs' offense is spread out, but the head of the monster is Senior quarterback, Paul Pinegar, who boasts a rating of 117.4 on the season with 11 touchdowns to go with only two interceptions.

Idaho is the WAC's newest member in their first year. The Vandals have had their problems, having lost 62-14 to Nevada in their last contest. Idaho likes to throw the ball, as is evident by Junior quarterback Steven Wichman's 1345 yards passing this season. He has only been able to connect on 7 touchdown passes as opposed to 6 interceptions this season.

Watch for Fresno State to roll over Idaho and continue their ascent in the rankings. Idaho has to hope that the cozy confines of the Kibbie Dome can help them pull off a big upset win.
