The 21st ranked TCU Horned Frogs put their unblemished Mountain West Conference record on the line, as they go on the road to face the 3-4 Air Force Falcons. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM EST.

After being upset in their second game of the year against SMU, the Horned Frogs have rattled off five straight victories to solidify their top 25 ranking. After defeating Army a week ago 38-17, they get to face another of the academies, in what should be a tougher challenge against Air Force.

TCU is led by quarterback Jeff Ballard, who has shown to be a threat with not only his arm, but can also use his rushing skills to give opposing defenses fits. He is completing 60% of his passes for 673 yards and seven touchdowns since taking the reigns from the injured Tye Gunn. Behind him are two more running threats, Robert Merrill and Aaron Brown. The duo has combined for 904 yards on the ground with six scores.

Air Force head coach Fisher DeBerry's squad also relies heavily on the run, as they enter this game seventh nationally in rushing at 252 yards per game.

Unfortunately, his team has found themselves behind often, and have been able to muster enough of a passing game to catch up. Quarterback Shaun Carney scored four times in an impressive 42-7 win over UNLV last week. He ran for 83 yards on only 12 carries to lead an attack that gained 316 yards on the ground.

The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for the Falcons, after beginning the year 2-0.
