After an emotional win in Columbus over Michigan State last Saturday, the 14th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes head to Memorial Stadium in Bloomington to face a team with a new coach and new attitude; the Indiana Hoosiers.

Troy Smith, who has been the target of much criticism from Ohio State fans in their two losses this season, had a strong game last weekend. He threw touchdown tosses to the receiving duo of Santonio Holmes and Ted Ginn in route to a 35-24 triumph that renewed hopes for a Big 10 Title. He went 10-of-15 for 249 yards and three scoring throws. Holmes and Ginn have combined for 47 receptions on the year for 745 yards and six touchdowns.

After a slow start against the high-powered Spartans offense, the Buckeyes defense stood strong after the half, sacking quarterback Drew Stanton a school-record 12 times. Ohio State linebacker A.J. Hawk, who was just named a finalist for the Butkus Award, is the leader of a solid cast of tacklers. He accounted for 19 stops in the last game.

The Hoosiers look to rebound off a 38-21 defeat at the hands of the Iowa Hawkeyes in their last outing. Sophomore quarterback Blake Powers has been impressive in leading the passing attack, throwing for 1520 yards and 20 touchdowns. This will the toughest defense he's faced in his young career, but he has one of the finest wide receivers in the Big 10 as his main target in James Hardy.

But, the biggest surprise for the 4-2 Hoosiers may be the play of the defense, which is currently ranked fourth in the conference. Strong Safety Wil Meyers leads the team with 40 tackles
