The 23rd ranked Virginia Cavaliers will attempt to build on the momentum of upsetting then-#4 Florida State, as they head to Chapel Hill to face the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM EST.

Versatile quarterback Marques Hagan is the leader of the Virginia offense. He was phenomenal last weekend against the Seminoles, going 27-of-36 for 306 yards and two scoring tosses, as the Cavs ended a two game losing streak and re-entered the national rankings. Hagan is completing his throws at a 62 % clip on the year for 1342 yards and ten touchdowns.

Running back Wali Lundy will look to rebound from a 26 yard, nine carry performance, as he is battling a foot injury. He did catch a 15-yard touchdown pass in the 26-21 win last weekend, his first score of the year.

The Tar Heels are coming off a bye week, after being routed by Louisville the week before 69-14. Senior quarterback Matt Baker has shown steady improvement this season, as he is connecting on 52 % of his passes for 1229 yards and six touchdowns. North Carolina has had their struggles running the ball, averaging just 91 yards per game and a paltry 2.6 yards per carry.

Aside from the blowout two weeks ago, the Tar Heels defense has looked strong of late. They are only allowing 3.2 yards per rush. They are giving up 30 points a game, but that number is a bit deceiving, as the offense has put them in a hole at times this year.
