TCU Horned Frogs quarterback Jeff Ballard continued his stellar play on Saturday afternoon as replacement for the injured Tye Gunn, throwing for 304 yards and two touchdowns, to lead the #21 Horned Frogs over the Air Force Falcons 48-10 in Colorado Springs.

Ballard went 21-of-29 in slicing up the Falcons defense, and also added 40 yards on the ground on six carries and scored once. His top target, junior wide receiver Cory Rodgers, hauled in six throws for 125 yards, including a 32 yard scoring toss to put the game on ice in the third period.

On the other hand, Air Force quarterback Shaun Carney struggled on the day, being picked off twice by the Horned Frogs defense, while going 13-of-20 for 162 yards. He did give a gritty performance in defeat, as he was also the Falcons leading rusher with 64 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown in the second quarter to cut the TCU lead to 14-10.

But, that would be the last time they'd find the scoring column on the afternoon, as TCU took over the game in the second half. The Horned Frogs have now won six straight games since losing to SMU on September 10th.
