Olson has record setting night in #8 UCLA win
UCLA quarterback Drew Olson set a school-record with six touchdown passes to lead the Bruins to a 51-28 victory over Oregon State on Saturday evening. He finished 15-of-23 on the night with 260 yards, and running back Maurice Drew added 129 yards on 23 carries, as UCLA remained perfect at 7-0 and on a collision course with #1 ranked USC in the season finale.

Two of Olson's scoring passes were to Drew, and he added two more to tight end Mercedes Lewis, who caught six passes for 69 yards. The Bruins were in control of the game throughout, as the offense moved the ball at will against the Oregon State defense.

The Beavers actually out-gained UCLA in the game, 518 yards to 499. Oregon State junior quarterback Matt Moore completed 13-of-24 of his throws for 270 yards and two touchdowns, but was also intercepted twice. Mike Haas was the recipient of seven of those passes for 197 and caught both of Moore's scoring throws, one a 26-yarder and the other one for 15-yards.

Oregon State sophomore running back Yvenson Bernard carried the ball 31 times for 168 yards with two touchdowns to lead the ground attack, but it was not enough. The Beavers dropped to 4-3 on the year with the loss.
