The Kansas State Wildcats (4-5) visit Lincoln to face the Nebraska Cornhuskers (5-4) in a Big 12 North matchup. Kickoff is slated for 2:00pm ET at Memorial Stadium.

Both Kansas State and Nebraska are coming into this game with losing streaks, so one team is going to be able to get things headed in the right direction with a win.

After getting off to a 4-1 start this season, the Wildcats have dropped four straight, including last week's 45-17 loss at Iowa State. Freshman quarterback Allan Evridge has been played reasonably well for the Wildcats this year. Through seven games, Evridge has thrown for 1,263 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also has five interceptions, which is something he'll definitely have to get under control against the swarming Nebraska defense.

Kansas States' leading rusher is Thomas Clayton, who has 450 yards and 4 TDs so far this season. However, Clayton has been held out of a couple of games this year for disciplinary reasons, and did not play last week against Iowa State. If he doesn't suit up for the Nebraska game, you can expect backups Parrish Fisher and Carlos Alsup to get some carries.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are coming off a demoralizing 40-15 loss to Kansas last week. Quarterback Zac Taylor completed just 14 passes for 117 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Taylor has now thrown 5 interceptions in Nebraska's last three games, all of them losses. He needs to turn things around and get back to his early season form in order for Nebraska to salvage this season.

Running back Cory Ross continues to be underutilized in the Cornhuskers' offense, gaining just 30 yards last week after being held to just 60 yards combined in the two previous games. Ross will have to get some quality carries this week in order to open up the field for Taylor.
