The Clemson Tigers celebrated senior day by waxing the FSU Seminoles 35-14. Tommy Bowden has now beaten his father twice in the past three seasons.

The Tigers were led by senior quarterback Charlie Whitehurst who threw for 269 yards and 3 touchdowns on 21 of 32 passing. Wide receiver Chansi Stuckey was open for Whitehurst all day long and hauled in 11 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns. The Clemson Tigers also benefited from two Drew Weatherford interceptions.

Weatherford had been on a hot streak of sorts for the FSU Seminoles but has faded fast after a disappointing loss to Virginia a few weeks ago. Today he was replaced by Xavier Lee in the fourth quarter, but Lee couldn't get anything going either ended up completing only 1 of 7 pass attempts for seven yards. RB Lorenzo Booker was one of the lone bright spots for the Seminoles. He rushed for 112 yards on 16 carries in a losing effort.

The FSU Seminoles fall to 7-3 after winning five straight games to start the season. The Clemson Tigers improve to 6-4.
