The Michigan Wolverines made sure not to look ahead to their monumental matchup with Ohio State next week and made easy work of the visiting Indian Hoosiers 41-14. The loss knocks Indiana out of bowl contention.

QB Chad Henne and RB Kevin Grady led the way for the Wolverines. Henne threw for 174 yards and 3 touchdowns on 17 of 24 passing. Grady ran the ball for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries. WRs Jason Avant and Steve Breaston both hauled in touchdown passes in the first half to help put the game out of contention early. Michigan strolled into the locker rooms with a 41-7 lead at intermission.

Although the Indiana Hoosiers took an early lead when quarterback Blake Powers hit Jahkeen Gilmore for a 42-yard touchdown pass with just under 11 minutes left in the first quarter, they would not score again until midway through the final quarter of play. Powers managed only 112 yards on 10 of 20 passing with one touchdown and one interception. Indiana managed only 63 total rushing yards as a team.
