This Saturday, the Oregon State Beavers (5-5, 3-4 Pac-10) will travel to Eugene to take on the 10th ranked Oregon Ducks (9-1, 6-1) in their annual “Civil War" battle. Kickoff is at 6:45 PM Eastern Time at Autzen Stadium.

The underdog Beavers will likely be without their star quarterback Matt Moore for this one. Moore suffered a sprained knee in the Beavers' 20-17 loss last week to Stanford. If Moore is out, sophomore backup Ryan Gunderson will start the game. Oregon State has lost three of their last four, and need a win against Oregon to qualify for their fourth straight bowl game.

The Oregon Ducks have won the last five meetings in Eugene between these two rivals. The Beavers, however, have managed to take the last four in Corvallis.

Oregon has won 6 in a row coming into the “Civil War" battle. Their last loss was at home to top ranked USC 45-13 back on September 24th. The Ducks just sneaked by Washington State 34-31 last week, however. A 19-yard field goal with only a second left got them the win and maintained their hopes for a BCS at-large birth. Right now the Ducks are tied for second in the PAC-10 with UCLA, just one game behind USC.

Despite the fact that this is a rivalry game, look for Oregon State to struggle in Moore's absence. With 2,711 yards on the season and 11 touchdowns, he is a big part of the Beavers' offense.
