On Thursday, the Wisconsin Badgers dismissed running back Booker Stanley. He was originally suspended by the team back in December following his arrest on charges of sexual assault, battery, and bail jumping.

Stanley is facing one count of second-degree sexual assault, one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, four misdemeanor counts of battery, one count of felony bail-jumping and two counts of misdemeanor bail-jumping. He is currently free on bond and is expected to have his next court hearing regarding this case on February 21st.

As a junior, Booker Stanley backed up Brian Calhoun but still managed to rack up 340 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns. He would have likely started as a senior for the Badgers.

OFFENSIVE GURU JOHN VAUGHT PASSES AWAY

Former Ole Miss head coach John Vaught, a Texas native who led Mississippi to six Southeastern Conference titles and 18 postseason bowl appearances, has died at age 96. He passed away at his assisted living facility in Oxford, Mississippi.

Vaught's influence on Ole Miss football was so significant that the team's stadium bears his name. Despite the fact that Vaught's coaching career ended in the early 70's professional and college football teams still use his variations on offense today.
