The Florida Gators parlayed their national championship into a huge signing-day bonanza, while the USC Trojans simply continued what has been an outstanding string of signing-day bounties.

The Gators got 27 letters of intent on Wednesday, including 10 five-star recruits. Meanwhile, USC managed only 18 commitments but bagged the top three-rated players in the country, including highly touted running back Joe McKnight out of River Ridge, La.

The Miami Hurricanes were the big surprise of the day, getting several last-minute surprise signings and moving up from the mid 20s to the early teens in their signing-day ranking.

Here are some of the top 25 classes, as reported by Scout.com and USA Today.
