The Indianapolis Colts re-signed linebacker Rob Morris, who was released earlier this offseason. The free agent MLB has been with the team the past 5 years.

The 6 foot 2 inch, 243 pound Morris finished 2004 with 77 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble.

The former first-round pick out of BYU is expected to compete in 2005 with Gary Brackett for the starting job. Brackett has backed up Morris the past 2 seasons but has been working with the Colts' first-team defense so far in the offseason.
