The Indianapolis Colts signed offensive right tackle, Ryan Diem, to a seven-year deal worth a little more than $36 million.

Included in the deal are signing and option bonuses in excess of $10 million. The contract will pay Diem approximately $19 million over the first three years.

Now that Diem is under contract, the Colts are set at both their right and left tackle, Tarik Glenn, as well as center Jeff Saturday.

With Diem locked up, the Colts will probably place the franchise tag on Edgerrin James. Discussions within the orginization are whether to give him the exclusive or non-exclusive franchise tag or designate him as a transition player. The non-exclusive franchise tag would count as a one-year contract at $8.08 million against the cap.
