The Dallas Cowboys are set to unleash their new 12 personnel formation. No, it's not really twelve men on the field. Although, it would surely help break NFL records if it were. It's actually a two tight-end formation.

With the already proven, pro-bowler, Jason Witten, along side the supposed phenom, Marty Bennett, this new formation will have the defenses shaking in their cleats. Both tight-ends are excellent run blockers as well as great receivers. Although Bennett showed promise last year, he has to prove he can do it on a consistent basis.

This new formation should open holes and allow Barber to smash, Jones to dash and Choice to ... tash?? We'll have to work on that later.

Anyway, it should help the offense as a whole, both passing and rushing. The new 12 formation will help the Cowboys become a better offense , giving the defense some time to rest between drives. Defensive coordinators will be pulling their hair out trying to figure this one out.
