Don’t hate on Tony Romo

I've just got to set the record straight for all you Tony Romo haters out there. It's not all his fault !! First off, if you're a Cowboy hater, then i don't blame you. I hate the Lakers and the Yankees, so i understand. However, as a sports fan, I respect those sorry sons of biatches. To everyone in the D/FW area that have their heads up Emmit Smith's butt, you don't know what you're talking about. Trade Tony Romo? He can't win a playoff game? Romo sucks? He's dating a hot chick? Well , i don't blame him on that last one.

If anyone can remember back when Peyton Manning came into the league, I believe he didn't win his first 3 playoff games. Man, I guess he sucks. Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl. I guess he sucks ,too.
Bledsoe, Moon, McNabb... no Super Bowls. Suck, suck, suck. Granted , they've won playoff games, but is that really the ultimate goal?

Now ,back to Romo. If you remeber his first shot in Seattle, he lost because of a fumbled snap he shouldn't have been handling in the first place. That has nothing to do with quarterbacking ability. He lead the team on a game winning drive as a qb. The next year , he had a
13-3 record.
Man , that sucks. And, if i recall correctly, every Cowboys' fan was calling for Crayton's head for missing a wide open catch where he had nothing but green in between him and the endzone, that would've been a game changer. But i guess that's Romo's fault ,too.

Romo can't win in December? Last year, he did everything possible in sub-freezing temps in Pittsburgh, just to get blamed for an int that Witten admitted he ran the wrong route on. Plus, Romo didn't give up the game winning touchdown. The Cowboys beat the NY Giants in December, with Romo at qb. They didn't with 'Sad' Johnson or Brooks 'Blowinger".And the defense gave them every opportunity to win that game. Romo drove and drove and drove against a pretty good Baltimore defense in the last game at Texas Stadium. He didn't , however, give up the two longest runs in team history on back to back plays. And face it, the whole team sucked in Philly. Funny thing is, you hear that Romo lost 3 out of 4 games in December. Have you ever heard anyone say that Demarcus Ware or Brady James lost 3 out of 4 games last December? They are the captains of this defense.

Too much credit and too blame go to the quarterback position. It takes 53 men to win ,and not just 1 to loose. I think I'd take my chances with a qb that broke several team passing records over the qb's we've had since 'The Golden God' Troy had to retire. Give Romo a chance to grow as an NFL qb. Even 'GG' Troy didn't win in his first couple of years. This is only Romo's third year as a starting qb. Don't hate the player...unless you hate the team !!
