It's just a little over two weeks until training camp opens and overall, things are looking up for the Dallas Cowboys.

On defense, the Cowboys added linebackers Bobby Carpenter and Akin Ayodele, who are both well-suited to play the 3-4 scheme that Bill Parcells loves. Even though Greg Ellis blew off June's organized team activity, it's in his best interest to play well if he wants the financial security he held out for in the first place. In the secondary, Marcus Coleman adds experience, depth and flexibility.

On the offensive side of the ball, the skilled positions are in better shape than last year. Troublemaker or not, Terrell Owens is the best receiver in football. Anthony Fasano is another weapon that opposing defenses have to deal with. In the backfield, Julius Jones is healthy but even if he gets injured, Marion Barber is a more than capable backup.

How will Drew Bledsoe play? If he has time to throw, he'll be fine.

This brings us to the biggest question on the Cowboys team: The offensive line. Because Parcells has opted to play
without a fullback, this newly constructed line 's performance is more critical than ever. So how does it look?

Center and right guard are set with Al Johnson and Marco Rivera, respectively.

However, these questions remain:

How will Flozell Adams perform after recovering from his torn ACL? At the organized team activity, Parcells said Adams was "overweight and rusty."

Is Kyle Kosier the answer at left guard?

Has Rob Petitti improved as much as the Cowboys are asserting and if not, does veteran Jason Fabini, who's coming back from season-ending surgery, have anything left?

So how will this new line shake out? Will it meld into a cohesive unit? Will it fall apart like last year? In sixteen days, we'll begin to find out.
