Cowboys waive RaShard Lee, 3 others

The Dallas Cowboys released running back ReShard Lee, a backup last year to Julius Jone. The move will clear room on the roster for free-agent running back Anthony Thomas.

The 5'10", 220 lbs. Lee led the Cowboys in kickoff returns last season as a rookie, gaining 964 yards on 41 attempts (23.5 yard average). In addition, the Middel Tennesee State product rushed 27 times for 128 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Cowboys also released safety Steve Cargile, defensive tackle Tron LaFavor and tight end Landon Trusty. All 3 were members of the Cowboys practice squad last season.
