At first glance, the Dallas Cowboys-Buffalo Bills game on "Monday Night Football" seems as foregone a conclusion as Patriots-Browns or Colts-Buccaneers was on Sunday, and perhaps it is. But, heck, as goes the supposition from the classic "Lisa the Greek" episode of The Simpsons, "gambling makes a good thing even better."

To help make your Monday night a little bit better, RealFootball365.com presents a few prop bets, lines and tips for playing them in tonight's game. Some are actual lines from those hard-working people at Las Vegas sportsbooks. Others we just made up.

Over/under, total points scored: 45. This one would appear to depend on garbage-time touchdowns by the Cowboys, as the Bills look fit to struggle out of single-digit scoring in a battle of the league's statistical No. 1 offense and 31st-ranked offense. Dallas put up 35 against the St. Louis Rams, leaving the combined total just short of the 46-point over.

Over/under, Terrell Owens' receiving yardage: 96.5. Take the over! Sure, this one is slightly above Owens' average of 90.5 per game, but he's got the likes of Jabari Greer and Terrence McGee outclassed in this one. You know T.O. is taking this as a dress rehearsal for the Patriots game, so figure a couple of TDs for him as well.

Money line, Cowboys win by 19-24 points: plus-400.

Money line, Cowboys win by 25-30 points: plus-550. Wow, these are tempting, eh? The 'Boys are averaging just under a 20-point margin of victory, and the leads have consistently increased since opening day: 10, 17, 24, 28.

Odds Craig Nall takes at least two snaps: 6-1. Stay away from this one. Trent Edwards may already be running for his life behind a line that isn't even as good as the 2.5 sacks it's allowed per game thus far.

Proposition bet: The Bills outscore the Yankees. Edwards, Buffalo's rookie sensation, gets to take on Dallas' overrated defense; while the Bills have been putting up just over 10 points per game, they suffered at the hands of the Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers. Though the Yanks get Paul Byrd, a dude whose ERA has been steadily ballooning since September began, go with Buffalo here.

Over/under, wins by the Cowboys in 2007: 9.5. You're not going to find anyone willing to take this bet at this point, but those shrewd enough to have put money down on a season of 10 wins for Dallas are looking pretty astute right now.

Over/under, Gratuitous mentions by the "MNF" crew of the Super Bowl confrontations of the 1990s: 3. This seems high, but you've got to go with the over here; if Tony Kornheiser doesn't get two jokes out of the back-to-back shellackings in the second half alone, it'll be a shocker. Plus, someone is obliged to mention that these two teams have combined for one playoff win since meeting in Super Bowl XXVIII and that was in 1996. Lousy Music City Miracle ...
