The Dolphins released K Dave Rayner on Wednesday, leaving them with incumbent Jay Feely and rookie Dan Carpenter to vie for the kicking job.

Rayner was brought in from Kansas City this off-season to compete with Feely. He went 15-for-22 with the Chiefs last year, but he ended the season handling kickoff duties for the Chargers.

Commentary: Kickers move around the league frequently, and considering Rayner played with the Colts, Packers, Chiefs and Chargers before landing in Miami, he's likely to get a shot with someone else by the time training camp begins.

Fantasy Impact: None
