Three of the Miami Dolphins' first four draft picks are set to make an immediate impact on Sunday. The fourth will be waiting in the wings ready to make his presence felt:

Ronnie Brown: The Miami Dolphins new franchise player ($20 million in guaranteed money) looked solid in the preseason. He's a smooth runner who stays low and has an impressive mix of speed, shiftiness, and strength. Despite all the physical gifts, his best attribute might be his humble attitude He reminds me of Willis McGahee. Brown should get plenty of snaps on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

Channing Crowder: The Miami Dolphins pulled off one of the real "steals" in this year's NFL draft by selecting this monstrous linebacker from UF. Crowder has the size, speed, and intelligence to be a Pro Bowler, but what I like best about him is his fiery and downright nasty attitude. The Dolphins need as much of that as they can get. Crowder is set to start alongside Zach Thomas and Junior Seau on Sunday.

Travis Daniels: Nick Saban recruited him out of high school, coached him in college, then drafted the South Florida native. Good move Mr. Saban! Although Daniels may not get the starting nod on Sunday, he figures to contribute significantly. Daniels has already shown what he can do in coverage situations during the preseason. His size, speed, and knowledge of the game should make him a Dolphins fixture for years to come. Finally! The Dolphins are taking advantage of the immense talent pool here in South Florida.

Matt Roth: Although Roth may not see any game action on Sunday, he is already impressing coaches and teammates with his strength and tenacity. The kid has a motor that never stops, so I'm sure that coach Saban will figure out a way for him to contribute before the season is over.
