Choosing an offensive lineman as a top 10 pick in the NFL draft is hardly an exact science. While the Miami Dolphins probably would send their sympathies to other teams that had linemen that were more bust than boom, they won't be apologizing for the success of Jake Long, their favorite mauler from Michigan University.

Commentary: The Dolphins deserve plenty of props for taking Long first overall in April.

Everyone around the NFL knows how instrumental Long has been in helping create an offensive line that now makes the Dolphins a scoring threat. Long is leading in votes for the Pro Bowl, proof that his play on the field isn't going unnoticed.

Fan Pulse: With divisional rivals getting the spotlight around the league, Dolphins fans are arguing over which AFC East opponent they hate the most.

Fantasy Football Commentary: The Dolphins' defense is a nice one to pick up off the waiver wire if you need some stability on your team. They still get San Francisco and St. Louis this season on the schedule.

Injury Watch: Inflamed foot or not, Dolphins QB Chad Pennington is ready to roll against the New England Patriots.
