With a schedule that has them playing the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs in the next two weeks, there is no reason the Dolphins couldn't hope for a 10-5 record heading into Week 17 against the AFC East rival New York Jets.

Commentary: The Jets, despite all the praise they were receiving a couple weeks ago at 8-3, have effectively wet their pants in losses to Denver and San Francisco. While they sit around and try to mop up the mess, it is time for the Dolphins to seize the moment. Because of their schedule, they should be able to.

The Dolphins desperately need to win all three games because it will be difficult to take a wild-card spot from the Indianapolis Colts or Baltimore Ravens, both of whom are 9-4. It'd be a crying shame if the Dolphins won 10 games and didn't make the playoffs, but it happened to the Cleveland Browns last year.

One thing's for sure: A worst-to-first finish in the AFC East would be the best Christmas gift the Dolphins and their fans could receive.

Fan Pulse: Is the "Wildcat" formation worth running anymore? Dolphins fans debate.

Fantasy Football Commentary:
If you are looking for a wide receiver to get you a decent amount of fantasy points, then Davone Bess is your man. Surprisingly enough, the loss of Greg Camarillo hasn't inspired Ted Ginn Jr. to up more production. Bess has been more than eager to take catches from Ginn and has scored a minimum of seven fantasy points in the last three weeks for Miami in standard scoring formats, and he is heaven in PPR leagues.

Injury Watch: Miami's starters are looking good heading into this week's game against the 49ers.
