It doesn't seem so long ago that the Miami Dolphins were known as choke artists late in the season. Once the cold weather hit, the entire team would shrink like other parts of the male anatomy. That isn't the case with the 2008 Dolphins, who have won all three of their December games. This should give plenty of reason to think that the Dolphins will go to the Meadowlands and beat the slumping New York Jets this weekend. The Dolphins have usually broken out in a sweat once the weather dipped, but now they are cool customers.

Commentary: The Dolphins can do the unthinkable and go from a one-win team in 2007 to a playoff-bound club this year. But that team wasn't as bad as everyone thought last year, losing several close games, and bringing in composed leaders like QB Chad Pennington have made a world of difference. Now Pennington returns to his old stomping grounds, a factor that gives the Dolphins the edge.

Fan Pulse: The Dolphins' record has improved greatly, but that surprisingly isn't stopping some fans from thinking this year's team is worse than the 2007 edition that went 1-15.

Fantasy Football Commentary: Pennington, regardless of the weather conditions, will be motivated to make the Jets pay for releasing him. And there's that whole AFC East title thing that may motivate him a bit also.

Injury Watch:
LB Channing Crowder was inactive Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, and he is questionable as of today.
