With Matt Roth sitting out of the first days of training camp with a mysterious "ailment" (perhaps a contract ailment?) and Jason Taylor looking good - particularly against the run - while running with the starting defensive unit, it's worth discussing Taylor's chances of permanently replacing Roth in the starting lineup.

Personally, I am convinced that if Taylor can stay healthy and productive throughout training camp, he will end up starting when the regular season begins. When healthy, J.T. is as good as Roth at containing the run, and there's no doubt that he is the better pass rusher and playmaker.
