MIAMI, Florida - The Miami Dolphins re-signed TE/long snapper Ed Perry to a 5 year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Perry, 30, played in all 16 games last season and served as the team's deep snapper after missing the entire 2003 season. He suffered a horrific knee injury on the sand at Dolphins Stadium during the exhibition season.

Originally a 6th round pick of the Dolphins in 1997, Perry has played in 103 games, started 10 games, and has caught 39 passes for 308 yards and 2 TDs. He is also regarded as one of the NFL's most consistent long-snappers.
