The Miami Dolphins (7-7) get set to host the Tennessee Titans (4-10) in a game that will be played for pride alone. Both teams have already been eliminated from the playoff hunt, but will be looking to fine tune their respective squads for 2006.

Miami brings a four-game winning streak into this contest. Gus Frerotte is expected to play despite reaggravating an injury to his right index finger last week against the New York Jets. Ronnie Brown, however, is not expected to see action after suffering knee and ankle injuries versus the Jets. At least, Ricky Williams will be available to shoulder the load on the ground. Chris Chambers played himself into the Pro Bowl the past few weeks. Expect him and the rest of the Dolphins' receivers to thrive against a questionable Titans' secondary. The defense has been buoyed by the Pro Bowl nominations of veterans Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas. DT Manuel Wright and DE Matt Roth will continue to see more action this week. Special teams have gotten consistently solid contributions from punter Donnie Jones and Wes Welker.

Tennessee has struggled this season after a major salary cap purge in the off-season. However, head coach Jeff Fisher will have his troops ready for an upset on the road. Steve McNair could be in his last year with Titans and will be looking to impress other NFL teams like he did last week against Seattle. Tennessee is thin at running back; their top three runners (Chris Brown, Travis Henry, and Jarrett Payton) are listed as questionable this week. Drew Bennett has had a decent season at wide receiver (53 receptions for 659 yards and 3 touchdowns). TE Erron Kinney has been deactivated but Ben Troupe should fill his shoes adequately. The defense has been average overall in '05, but the secondary (especially rookie Adam "Pacman" Jones) has been lit up like a Christmas tree on many occasions.

The teams will square off at 1 pm ET from Dolphins Stadium. The Titans beat the Dolphins in Miami last year 17-7 to open the '04 season.
